Chelmsford & District Junior Schools Music Festival

Well done to the KS2 choir for an amazing performance at the Chelmsford & District Junior Schools Music Festival at the Civic Theatre.

The children joined choirs from several schools across Chelmsford  to perform as one large choir, singing a selection of modern and traditional songs to an audience of 500 people!.

The children had worked very hard with Mrs Wilson and Mrs Tuck on the songs they performed and it certainly paid off. They made us and themselves extremely proud.

Heat Wave!

Lots of shelters and water stations set up at break and lunchtime today so children could keep cool and hydrated.

Don’t forget to apply sun cream before school this week and bring in a water bottle and sunhat every day.

Stay cool everybody!

FUDGE Morning

Thanks to all the fathers, uncles, step-dads and grandads that joined us this morning for animation, German, PE, reading and lessons in class.

We love welcoming in families to be a part of the school day and it means a great deal to the children.

Please leave a comment below and keep an eye out for a gallery on the Highlights page, where there will be another comments box.

Thanks to all who have been able to join us for any of our parents events this year.  If you haven’t been able to take part we hope you can next time.

Parkrun Takeover!

Thank you to all the Lawford Mead families who came to the Chelmsford junior parkrun last Sunday.

It was a fantastic turn out and we hope you all enjoyed it.  We recommend joining in on any Sunday but hopefully we’ll have another Lawford Mead takeover event in the Autumn term. Watch this space!
