End Of Term House Team Treat!

The final Thursday before Christmas was our BIG treat for the team that earned the most dojo points during the term.  It was close to the end but HEDGEHOGS came out on top this time!  We celebrated in style with every Hedgehog in the school enjoying  party games, ice cream, dancing and even a bouncy castle!

Well done to Foxes, Badgers and Squirrels too though as EVERY team had over 5,000 points to end the term!  That means each team demonstrated our school VALUES of PASSION, INTEGRITY, RESPECT, ASPIRATION and RESILIENCE over 5,000 times during the Autumn term.  Amazing!

You all deserve to feel very PROUD this Christmas.  Who’ll be on top of the leader board next time?

Health and Hygiene Poster Competition!

1. sneeze1cough1. public health posters  handwashing

This week in KS2 we announced the ‘Great Big Lawford Mead Public Health Poster Competition’!  In assembly we looked at public health posters going all the way back to WWII.  We are having a competition to create posters for the school that encourage children to wash their hands well and take care when coughing and sneezing.  Fantastic prizes will be won and the top 3 posters will be reproduced and displayed around the school.  Competition deadline: Monday December 14th.

Here are the first 2 entries.  Both BRILLIANT.  This is the kind of standard we are looking for.  Can you produce one this weekend?
