Happy Wednesday everyone! Keep strong you are all amazing!

Here is todays learning:

Spelling: Today you are going to be looking at some more common exception words (word that do not always following our spelling rules). We would like you to read them, cover them up and write them (no peeping!) Once you have completed this see if you can use them correctly in each sentence. Then have some fun by writing them in bubble writing and colouring them in.

Mathematics: Today you are going to be applying your 5 times tables to help you answer questions. Instead at looking at lots of (X) 2 you will be looking at lots of(X) five instead and counting in fives not 2 today. Look at the 5 times table below to help as well.

Use the White rose Hub video to support your learning and we will go through the question tomorrow on zoom for further support.

English: Today we are going to start re-writing the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar. There are two parts to your English. Firstly we would like you to plan your writing. You can follow the first learning video below to help with this. We are asking you to think of adjectives, verbs and adverbs that you could add to the story and improve the sentences.

Once you have completed your planning you can use your fabulous new vocabulary to write the first part of the story. There are examples under your planning template and below is a video to help you and show you how to use your planning to write you sentences.

Design and Technology: Lets have some fun today! We would like you to create a lever that pulls The Very Hungry Caterpillar through different types of fruit so it looks like he is munching his way through them. We have included the few resources you will need and step by step instructions on how to make it. You may need some adult support with some parts.
