Hi Year Two!

Wow! What a busy week we have had at school.

We visited Newland Spring Library on Tuesday and enjoyed a talk from the librarian and had the opportunity to enjoy reading books. We learnt how to find books in the library and found out about all the other services that are available in the library. Some children returned books and borrowed some more! If you are not a member we suggest you join Newland Spring Library and get reading!

Year Two have had an amazing day. We enjoyed watching Dolphin Tale at the Odeon Cinema, even though it was a bit of a tear jerker! This afternoon both classes took part in the read-a-thon in the hall. A big thank you to all the parents who attended and listened to children read. All children have now got  Active Learn logins, so they can access and enjoy lots of homework activities. Have a great weekend.
