Year 2 remote learning day (4th January 2021)

Best places to Celebrate New Year's Eve, top 10 destinations

Your learning packs have all the learning and activities you need for today (4th January). Your Maths activities are a revision and recap of what we have learned so far over Autumn term. It will be good practice and chance to show off to parents what you have learned and what you can remember. Remember your 10s and 1s as well as your column method to add and subtract.

English is a Pobble write and a grammar activity. Some of you have got phonics activities and some of you have a grammar mat. There is no expectation for you to do all of your activities, but we wanted to make sure you had enough to keep busy.

We are starting a new topic of ‘Towers, Tunnels and Turrets’ in Spring and we are looking at castles. In your packs, you have got a picture of a castle that has all it’s features labelled. Find out what these features are and what they were used for and then design your own castle.

Remember to upload your work onto Seesaw.

We look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday 5th January.

Here is the download for the home learning pack for those that were not able to collect it on the last day of term.
