Today we are going to have another screen-free day. Below are a few activities for you to have a go at.
Activity 1:
Using your fantasy creature from this week’s English activities, complete a piece of writing based on it. You could include your creature in a story or poem, or any other creative way you can think.
Activity 2:
Draw or create a setting / habitat for your fantasy creature that you drew on Monday. You could sketch, colour or paint the setting or use a box and other materials to make a model.
Activity 3:
Go outside and sketch any plants or other wildlife you can see.
Activity 4:
Collect toy animals (or any other objects you have at home) and take them outside. Place them on paper and see the shadows that are created. Now have a go at drawing around the shadows.
Activity 5:
If you have a garden (or you could go to your local park) see what wildlife you can spot. You could go on a minibeast hunt by looking under rocks and stones, or see what nature appears over the course of the day. Can you spot a bee? Any birds? Any nocturnal creatures?
Activity 6:
Collect a range of photos of members of your family. These could be of your parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles or cousins.
See what inherited features you can spot between members of your family.
Your reading task today is slightly different. We want you to either:
Find somewhere new or interesting to read your favourite book
Share a book with a family member you live with inside their home or garden
Upload your photo, or even a video, onto Seesaw.
