During our maths lesson today no one was able to solve the mastery question in the time we had left- although you were very close!

The answer is 9:20 am. The watches are 3 mins apart and the closest to 10 is 3×3=9.Then, you go into mins 60÷3=20. Thus the solve 9:20. Thank you.

Is the answer 9:30am?
I think 9:30 because the watches have a difference of 3. 3×3 = 9. Then I just did half of an hour as 1 (and half of an hour is 30 minutes, of course). and 9 hours and 30 minutes is 9:30 so is it 9:30????
