Welcome back to the blogs year 5!

Hi year 5! We hope that you spent time with families and have kept busy while staying safe over the past two weeks. Please keep us updated on what you have been up to on the Seesaw page and also by commenting below on the blogs!

We will be uploading daily lessons for you to complete and share with us. Please share your work on the Seesaw page – along with your name so we know who the work belongs to.

This is how your learning will look for this week:

Alongside this, please remember:

– keep reading daily – using your own book, audible or any reading material you come across

– Continue to practise spellings on Spelling Shed

– keep on top of your times tables by using TTR or Hit the Button

Keep safe!

Happy Easter!

Over the next two weeks, we won’t be adding new learning to the blogs as it is the Easter holidays. However, we know it won’t be a normal school holiday for you all!

During this time, why not have an ‘Easter Egg’ hunt around your house or garden? If you don’t have Easter Eggs you could hide, like in Muddy Adventures, you could hide pegs or other objects around the house and then the rest of your family could find them! Then, decide on your own prizes!

Remember to keep reading! This is a great time to read your favourite stories, share them with your families and listen to some audiobooks. There are some great free reading resources out there for you to use:

Also, White Rose Maths are still going to be uploading new maths lessons everyday if you wish to carry on. If not, you can carry on from where you left off after the Easter break.
