Year 3 project homework – Easter break

Hello Year 3,

After the Easter break, our topic will be ‘Flow’, and we will be learning about rivers. Over the holidays, we would like you to find out more about rivers. The knowledge organiser that children were given contains a lot of information about rivers and various things that children would be learning over the 1st half of Summer term. It is your choice over what work you complete, but here are some ideas if you need them:

  1. Important rivers of the world
  2. Names of major rivers in the UK
  3. An acrostic poem on rivers
  4. A painting or a labelled drawing of a river
  5. Journey of a river – where it starts from, where it ends etc.

When you have completed you work, post it on Seesaw or bring it in on the first day back after the break.

Have a lovely Easter!

Mrs Dubey & Mrs Shelton
