3. Remember to read and record it in your reading record every night! 🙂

Half term project

Hi Year 3,

We wish you all a relaxing half term.

Our next half term is topic is ‘Scrumdiddlyumptious‘. Children must have brought home knowledge organisers which explains briefly the things we will be learning over the next half term. Keeping that in mind we would like children to do some project work based on the topic. Here are some of the ideas.

  • Make a list of fruits/vegetables that begins with every alphabet in English language (For example: A- apple, B- Banana, C- cauliflower etc.)
  • Write a recount of your visit to a supermarket for grocery shopping with your parents/grandparents/aunt/uncle
  • Could you research on some of your favourite fruits and find out where does that fruit come from, what nutrients/ minerals etc does that fruit provide
  • A set of instruction to make pasta, muffins or anything else that you have a go at during half term.
  • What does a healthy diet look like – you could draw some of the things that you think are healthy

Once you have created your project, remember to upload it to Seesaw or bring it to school.
