Morning: Children did PE, handwriting and music in the morning.

Afternoon: We worked on non fiction comprehension. Children had a go at reading the text, underlining all the words whose meaning they were not sure of. After discussing the text, children focused on answering questions involving ‘matching the two sides’.

English: We used DADWAVERS to write some descriptive sentences. Each letter of the word ‘DADWAVERS’ is an idea for how to write your sentence.

A picture prompt was used. We used a picture of Hercules and Hydra in line with our topic of ancient Greeks.

Have a go at writing some descriptive sentences using DADWAVERS.

Maths: We learnt how to use inverse to check our calculations involving addition and subtraction.

English: Children completed their recount on Greek workshop and checked it against the steps to success.
