English: This week we are looking at spelling words that use apostrophes. The last 3 words are from Year 3/4 spelling list.

1. Practise your spellings for this week using look, cover, write, check. Practise each word 5 times and then put 5 of these words into sentences.

2. Practice your spellings on Spelling Shed (your username and password is stuck to your reading record).

3. Remember to read and record it in your reading record every night! 🙂

This week we won’t be setting English and Maths homework as we are setting you a project to do over the half term! Please do continue to read and practise your times tables though.

After half term, we will be learning about the Ancient Greeks. We would love everyone to find out a bit about them before we start! You could make a poster, a fact file, a model or any other type of project you like. Please post photos to seesaw. We can’t wait to see them! 🙂

Reading: We read few pages from our whole class reading book – The firework-maker’s daughter and then had a go at answering questions based on the text.

Computing:

In computing. children created a simple program that completes a task using scratch. If you have access to this program, have a go at exploring different things you can do on scratch.
