Stone Age tools

This half term’s topic is ‘Tribal Tales’. We will be looking at life in prehistoric Britain, focusing on the Stone Age, Iron Age and Bronze Age.

We started our exciting topic by making tools that you would have found in a Stone Age cave. The children showed excellent resilience to follow some difficult instructions. I wonder if anyone knows what the name of the tools are?

The children had great fun making their tools and will continue to use them and learn about them further in their History and Literacy lessons this half term.

Magnificent, Marvelous, Mucky…Muddy Adventures

Brrrrrrrrrr!!! It was our last session of Muddy Adv with Miss Lindsey in Ash class, and have we had fun over the last half term!

The children have had a fantastic time building dens, playing hide and seek, splashing in the mud puddle, climbing trees, walkways and other new obstacles Miss Lindsey has created, exploring the music tree, creating awesome things, making mini rivers and playing Masterchef in the mud kitchen.

A big thank you to Miss Lindsey for making the sessions so enjoyable, toasting marshmallows, bread and setting up sweet hunts!!!
