On Tuesday, year 3 walked to Morrisons to discover where our food comes from. We were amazed to find that our fruit and vegetables have travelled from all over the world!

                          

When we returned to school, we used Atlases to find out which food had travelled the furthest.

     

Many of our fruits had come from the UK and Europe. However, we found that the avacodos had come from Peru, one variety of apple had come from South Africa and watermelons came from Brazil!

I wonder who can tell me where the grapes came from?
