In our D and T topic, we have been looking at pneumatics. As part of our unit, we made egg box monsters using an empty egg box, plastic tubing and a balloon. We learnt that when we blew air through the tube, it blew the balloon up inside the box and amazingly pushed then lid open. We had lots of fun making our own designs and testing them out!

 

For Art Day Year 3 studied the Russian artist Wassily Kandinsky. In the morning we created biographical posters about his life.

In the afternoon we looked at one of his most famous paintings and used pastels to recreate a section. We then put each piece back together to make the whole painting.
