Writers of the week

This week I have picked some writers rather than just one writer. This is because I was super impressed with a group of children in my class during a shared writing session. Collaboratively, they created this fantastic paragraph of a recount:

In the afternoon, we all gathered around the long table, feeling very excited! Firstly, Sarah quickly rolled balls of dough to us, that she had already mixed. Then we had to fold and knead the dough which was very sticky and stretchy. I thought it smelled delicious. It was fun to make and when it was finished the bread was really tasty.

Well done to Smitha, Hudson, Lacy-Jane, Kian and Aleah for the brilliant team effort.

Miss Middleton.

Geography day!

Yesterday we had a fantastic time during Geography day. We had to plan a trip to Milan and act as travel agent company! The children all researched their own flights, hotels and activities for the trip. I was super impressed by their amazing computing skills and their ability to create a presentation to ‘sell ‘ their holiday idea. They learnt some lifelong skills and enjoyed themselves too.
