Well done Year 3’s
Miss Davis and I were super proud of you all last week, you did fantastically well in the assembly. It was great to see so many parents and adults there to support the children, we hope you enjoyed the show! It has been a fantastic first term learning all about the Egyptians and it was great to see the children so excited about learning.
Ash class’s projects
I would just like to say a BIG thank you to all the children in my class and their adults who helped them at home. The quality of projects this year is amazing. Also, a big shout out to Jessica Webb and her parents for taking up the challenge of making a brilliant set of Canopic jars to be used as props in our class assembly, thank you!
It is fantastic to see how much you are enjoying our topic on the Egyptians. Can anyone share with me their favourite fact they have learnt about the Ancient Egyptians?
What an exciting week back!
There has been a lot happening at Lawford Mead Primary this week! All the children participated in helping Art Solutions create a fantastic display for our library area. On Wednesday, was science day where the children watched a 360 degree movie that taught them about lots of different aspects of science. We ended the week with a trip to the cinema! What was your favourite part of the week?
Projects
Wow! What a busy week
Aspen class have had so much fun this week. At the start of the week we worked on a whole school art project and we would like to say thank you to the year six children who came to help us. On Wednesday we enjoyed celebrating science and got to watch a 360 degree movie called “Earth’s Wild Ride.” We then went on to write a setting description in literacy. On science day we became scientists and carried out an investigation to find out which of our magnets was the strongest. We also exploded a volcano! Today we were lucky enough to visit the cinema to watch “Inside Out.” Miss Davis said she was extremely PROUD of us because we were so well behaved and polite.
