Joshua C in Aspen shows great passion for his daily zoom meetings and always reminds me when it’s nearly time. He is growing in confidence and volunteering to answer questions more. I love hearing him speaking German during the meeting and he now knows more than I do!

  • I would like to nominate Jamie for head of school award. Jamie struggled a little after the second lockdown and was finding some of the work online tricky. (especially maths),but we sat down and talked about how we could resolve the issues and found a few strategies that help Jamie to do the best she can. I am so proud of her and she is not getting overwhelmed any more, and thinking what she can do to help herself. Well done Jamie for showing a lot, and it is a lot of resilience, one of our values at Lawford Mead. Xx

  • I want to nominate my sister Rebecca in ash class because she tries really hard to sound out the words she finds tricky on spelling shed and making everyone at home feel a lot less board.

  • Mum & Dad would like to nominate Sophie in Poplar, as she is doing really well working from home, busy with not just her regular Y5 work, but also the 11+ Club work from Mrs Wilson.
She is keeping up with her piano lessons & regular practice, which Mrs James is very pleased about too!
