I would like to nominate Ami-Mae C, with everything that’s going on she still manages to smile and always does as she’s asked even if it’s a task she doesn’t like.

  • Phoebe in year 4 shows passion in her creative approach to tasks, putting her own spin on them. She has also started doing the washing up every day.

  • I would like to nominate Michael in Y1 for the ‘Reader of the Week’ award. As always, he’s making lots of time for his reading. Sometimes you just cant stop him from reading. The other day he was even reading whilst bouncing up and down on his trampoline! He continues to do really well at trying to solve any tricky words by himself. He also reads to Grandma on the phone which I know for sure she really looks forward to. He even reads to me when I’m doing the gardening!

She has put all her effort into her school work and lots of other learning at home. She helps me out by cleaning and tidying the house and has a passion for baking. • I’d like to nominate Sadie for her resilience in her school work this week. She’s worked to complete nearly all the tasks on the home learning document. When she has struggled with understanding something she has taken a small break and then we’ve continued to get the task done.
She enjoys reading to the dog and having races in the garden with her which gives them both exercise!
When she FaceTimes grandma she tells & shows her all what we have been learning.

I would like to nominate Eleanor F in poplar class for an award this week, she continues to make us so proud with her passion for learning. She never misses a day and is very self motivated. She loves reading and reads a new book every few days. She does Joe Wicks’ workout everyday and also comes on a long dog walk around our local countryside. We couldn’t be more proud of her positive attitude at the moment.
