Assemblies today were about my new hero, England Manager Gareth Southgate.
His methods as manager and his answers in interviews during the World Cup can teach us so much about resilience and aspiration.
Here are some of my favourite quotes of his. Can you leave a comment below explaining what we can learn from Gareth Southgate?

They did so well and I hope that are proud of themselves. They didn’t win, but they came even further ahead then Portugal, Brazil, Spain, Argentina and even more which is amazing!
All that matters is they done their best

Somehow, eh? MWAHAHAHA
England did prodigiously in the World Cup 2018 and came 4th which is our best performance in 28 years because they were resilient and learnt from their mistakes but the best thing is Gareth Southgate is applauds the losing teams (even if they cheated and intentionally hurt our phenomenal players) because he knew what it felt like to be them. Also they did not give up or retaliate when Columbia was being aggressive or when the referee was biased to Croatia and when Croatia scored a goal which should have been invalid because their players football studs collided with Walkers head because once John Stones scored a goal and his studs collided with the opponents head and he got a red card by the exact same referee, which is unfair because we would have went to the finals against France and potentially won the World Cup. This shows us that one small action can effect a huge scale of people and cause so much hurt. But this shows us that if you learn from your previous mistakes you can prove your critics wrong and succeed. WELL DONE ENGLAND AND WE WILL, IF YOU CARRY ON LIKE THIS, WIN THE 2022 WORLD CUP QATAR !!!
I also forgot to add that we did amazing last week on England vs Spain 3-2 where the players (Raheem Sterling and Marcus Rashford) who lost quite a few opportunities to score scored (Sterling scored 2 goals and Rashford scored 1) because they learnt from their World Cup mistakes, which costed us. Our whole team is improving so much and I believe that we are World Cup winners and Euro Winners !!!!
