Today Year 3 have visited Sandford Mill to find out about forces and friction. We tried lots of mini experiments to see how friction works including:
- Dragging a wooden box along the ground
- Moving boxes on different surfaces
- Making lego vehicles move using weights.
We also had a go at making aerodynamic planes out of paper and we tested each one to see which plane was the quickest!
We all learnt so much about forces and friction and had a really good trip!
