At Lawford Mead pupils learn about festivals from many different religions and belief systems including Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Judaism, Sikhism and Humanism. We show tolerance for beliefs and lifestyles that are different from our own, but we also show respect, learn with curiosity and celebrate our differences!

Happy eid to all the Muslims in our school and community!
Here is a fun fact about my religion: Usually, when we go to my relatives house’s,we have halal meat. When people kill the animal to eat it,they do a very special prayer for the animal so it may go to heaven and thats halal meat. The same goes for when we all go to a resturaunt. It’s always halal.
